Used my Whirlaway today and was first time I've used it since fitting a pressure gauge.
I have a 13hp 250/3500psi bar machine but at full revs the Whirlaway was showing under 1500psi, surely there is something wrong?? The lance and nozzles were showing 3000psi so I presume it not a problem with my pressure washer.
Thanks.

Wrong nozzles on whirl-a-way? Seal gone and leaking? Trigger ok?

I'll check the nozzles tomo and see if they have a what sizes they are. I may just order 2 new ones any way. What's the best all Round nozzle Angle, 15 or 25 degree ?
The trigger seems fine but the actual Whirlaway main assembly is Not as tight/smooth as it used to be. It's all been recently greased But doesn't sound like it at all.

Nozzles wear out..... reducing pressure. For your pump (15litres per min at 3500psi)you should be running 25degree 025.Thats assuming it is a whirlaway with only two jets fitted and your flow is approx 15l/m

thanks for that chris.
would 2x 25 nozzles make 05, which is 175bar at 15lpm. would a 2x 02 nozzles be better?
thanks.

Checked today and it's got 2x 03 nozzles fitted. From
What I can see that works out to about 120bar :( no wonder she was struggling

02 nozzles are the correct size in the spotlessly clean workshop were figures are worked out.....but they tend to block up easily when on the job!!
