What i used to do, many years ago, before wfp,
Was to put the ladder at the front of the porch & using a 2ft extending trad pole, soap squeege & detail using a fixi clamp.
Dont try and climb on them, you might fall off or fall through/ damage the roof

It's a clamp that fits on the end of a pole - used for clamping sponges, scrims, microfibres, scourers - well anything really

you can get that pole he is on about from b&q and homebase for 10-15£ its worth its weight in gold for trad - the applicator and squeegie slot right on the end :)

start saving for a pole :)
