One for the trad guys! what size squeegee do you use for residential windows.
I currently use a 12'' but find that fanning some windows is not possible because the blade is too long to do it well.
Just wondered if 12'' is the usual size of blade most of you use.
Thanks.

i use a 10inch mainly and a 6 inch for the small windows ;D
-
12", used to be 14" but find more control with 12 hardly any detailing.
-
14 and 12 inch on houses, any thing that need smaller gets scrim wiped over
shops and big glass 18inch
-
i use 18 inch for most of my work, sometimes 14inch or rag it if smaller with either scrim or micro cloth.
-
we have 10 - 14 - 18 -22 in blades
we are all commercial work though
-
i use a 14in channel for most residential work and occasionally i use an 18in channel for large plate glass windows.i use the unger 2 squeegee BOAB so its easy to carry the two if needed! ;) ;D ;D
