Ive got my new van coming next week, a ply lined 61 plate trafic. I need some advice on how best (and fairly cheapest) way of setting up. Firstly I need to sort the floor out, probably by removing the floor ply and getting some protector down but I don't really want to paint it, although its cheap, it's a 61plate and I don't want to ruin it. As im currently running around in my astravan with a basic set up i.e 350l tank strapped down etc, im trying to do things better and tidyer. Ive read previous posts about expensive lining but as ive just handed over £2k in non refundable vat on the van the £££ are tight at the moment. Any help peeps.. Cheers

best and cheapest? lol that doesnt happen
you can get rubber load liners for nearly every van, i would protecta cote the floor its not expensive about 80 quid for a tin, if/when you come to sell it you can just re fit the ply lining on the floor and no one would be any wiser

Dont scrimp, get the job done properly or in 12-18months you will be doing it all over again. And spending more money.

What about a Speedliner application as it's a newish van!
Has anyone used this company before and could advise on the cost?
:)

take ply out paint, then when you come to sell put ply back in.
the ply wont last long if you get leeks or leave back doors open and raining and it just look gubby ;)

Cheers fellas, looks like it'll have to be protecta coat then, going to get someone clued up to paint it so its done right. Also at the moment i just have the pump & controller screwed to the ply on the side of my astravan, it looks pretty diy, is there any way of tidying this up aswell?

Do you really not know how to use a paint brush?

No - I hate painting.
Seriously, as it's a 13k van I think it's best if someone that's done a few vans before sorts it. I don't want to bodge it. If you really want to do it Scrimble that's fine with me!
