I've just bought a battery sprayer from window cleaners warehouse, just shy of £150 delivered, on the recommendation of a few chaps on here - used it for a few jobs already and does the job nicely.
Alternatively, I'm selling my inline sprayer for £100 if anyone is interested.

Ash
can you put a link to your new one?
-
Not now cos I'm on my phone - but I'll do it when I get home (or I'm sure someone else might oblige in the mean time).
Give them a ring and tell them you want it for carpet cleaning, and they'll leave the spray lance on for you.

Hydramaster has an offer on the Hydraforce inline sprayer which is much better quality than the cheap ones being sold on eBay
Think the offer price is £150
Go for that is my advice.

I underestimated myself :)

When you say not the greatest, what are looking to get from it (we have 2x12lt ones very good for small commercial work on the big ones use a 70lt builders bucket and sureflow pump and 150ft hose) we also use HF inline sprayer and have five replacement cartages I hate mix pre-spay on the job ;D

i suppose im just getting tired of how quick the pressure drops off and arm ache ::)

Battery sprayer all the way, but always keep the pump up on the van.....if a fuse goes or it gets wet and shorts out, you will be up the creek without a sprayer......

ok i've narrowed it down to either an inline or 10ltr -steel/or stainless ???

You cant go wrong with a stainless steel Gloria sprayer. They are around £200-£300 but the'll last you a lifetime and look more professional.
Thats what I have and after 1 year of solid use its never gone wrong (unlike plastic sprayers that i've had in the past)
Alot of people on here have the battery powered sprayers. They look good on paper but not sure if they have stood the test of time with carpet cleaning yet. I've herd a few people have had problems with them.
