Yes, and it means that about 95% of calls in become customers, as they are already happy with the price.
It also means that I waste no time going out to price up.

the disadvantage is you don't get a feel for how many people would be interested if the price were lower. so you cant really gauge how many people in a certain area are being put off by your price, but would be interested otherwise.

I agree, Richard, but the thing is, I don't want to talk to them. I have a price at which I want to clean. I'm never going to go below it; anyone who's only interested at a lower price is never going to be a customer of mine, so I'd be wasting time talking to them.
There's another advantage as well. Lots of people (my wife for one) don't call someone if they have no idea of prices. With prices on your leaflets, you get those calls.
My response rate is pretty much identical to everyone else who leaflets on here, so I think that the extra callers form the second point must balance out the cheapskates...

that's really interesting Vin. I've never tried prices on leaflets for WC but am very tempted to. one thing i worry about is that i'll be leafleting areas where i already clean, and that some prices on properties will be more than those on the leaflets, so the customers may call up and expect a lower price... i think that in reality, this will happen a little, but in general it wont be a huge problem... but it is a worry.

Thanks vin & Richard for the response
Vin, think what your saying makes a lot if sence if showing your prices people are really only phoning for one reason
Thanks for your time chaps :)
