hi jason, i,m new to carpet cleaning and i,m very interested in lm cleaning, during the searches i,ve found your posts to be both interesting and informative, you always emphasise the pre vac stage and i was just wondering if the overall pre vac would benefit from being done with a crb prior to the actual vaccing stage..thanks a lot kev...ps ccould you please mail me the indeapth info that you have put together on the subject thanks very much....

In answer to your question, if you CRB the carpet before vaccing, then it losens a bit more of the dry dirt...... However if you have a good vac ie sebo, then it losens the dirt as vaccing anyhow, so mainly a waste of 20 mins if you do....
IMHO for what it is worth sort of thing.... so to speak..... ;D ;D

I recommend raking the vaccing slowly in 2 directions , disregard what you can see , as you will never see all the dust and grit , just vac it thoroughly.

well rycalshaw
was that worth the wait lamfao
stop it now Jason my ribs are aching with laughing ;D

Well I have seen a few on here "thoroughly vaccing" and ist seems some people have different definitions of the meaning thorough.
Using a 10 year old sebo with smelly filters and vaccing a room in 10 minutes is not thorough.
-
your right but , surely one of the other 5000 cc on here could of told him that , he waited 7 posts for you to say vac well , the lad was waiting for his lm guru to enlighten him into the holy land , and u said vac well.
ill help him No 1 Vac well Jason
No 2 dont over wet Neil ;D
-
Dont overwet??
What formulas do you use for ensuring a carpet of x weight and soiling is not over wet?
-
the same as you ;D
-
Hi guys
How about temerature x volume divided by the cube root of the surface tension?
Cheers
doug
-
yeah Doug
what about it
-
Apart from the dry stage the wet stage (as Doug so eloquently pointed out) should be linear to the soiling but as you are drying the carpet as well as wetting it then it should not be a big problem, I find that bonnet cleaning is easy and easy to sell but you need to get someone to show you first to also add you will need a hwe to rinse out stains and certain products.
God it's good to be back!

We were on 42nd st, your in a great location if you're in to sight seeing get a new York pass it saved us 50% it's a fixed fee empire state was $38 each most things were around that price, you've got to go to the apple store it's around corner from your hotel.

This is well worth doing. The Guy driving us got major respect from all the cabbies and took us to all the non-tourist areas worth seeing. It wasa I've the parting of the seas as he drove along all the cars moving out the way to let him through.
