Hope this all makes sense.
Right on the basis that domestic customers think most window cleaners just do a few houses for pocket money and dont realise we run a commercial and domestic business.
'free window cleaning for a year'
How it works - the domestic customer recommends you to there work place etc ... So for example - they work in an office block that costs say £100 per months clean and that equals there yearly house clean cost.
And for example the customer only works in a small local shop - £10 per clean - so they would get £10 credit to use towards either next window clean or even towards add on services eg con roof etc
So they simply get credit equal to the cost of the first clean of the new commercial job.
Would work well for us as the domestic round is very compact work and wouldn't be a pain doing the odd free clean in that road ...

Sounds great.
I might try that myself mate.

Just wording it right now for the customers.
Not sure if I should just drop letters through the doors or get flyers done for this yet.

Re-edit your windows cleaned today tickets and put the info on there.

sounds like a good idea - always up for a gimmick!
what happens if the commercial job is lost to an undercut - do you carry on with the freebies?

The customer gets the value of the first clean so yes lose a job won't be great but you've done say the £100 first clean so won't lose out like. Still gotta sort out t&cs of this offer to cover myself. My say the customer gets the credit after 3 months or something or I may even just let the customer use the credit only on add on work - so they would get £100 credit for example towards a con roof clean, insides etc ....

Great idea, I hope you'll share your wording on here so I can nick it!
