have a van mount but you know what its like some jobs are awkward with getting the hose to certain places really do think a back pack with carry handle woukld help loads anyone use one

This is how I work now
Used backpack only for three years as couldn't see point of van mount
Recently changed van and had van mount fitted and I can see now why every one says to get a tank fitted
However I still would not be without my backpack and use it for awkward access jobs
Get one and you won't be disappointed even if you just use it occasionally
It will stop you pulling your hair out over some jobs

My backpack sits on a small folding sack truck. I rarely use it but it is much easier with a set of wheels if you are using it round the back of somewhere difficult to access. And you just undo the strap/bungee and lift it off if you need to carry it over Mrs. Jones's prize cream carpet.
In reality I might use it once a month. I normally use the van and just carefully take the hose through most properties that need it.

would'nt be without one
I use it for rear windows on terraced houses where I must go through the house, so much quicker than unreeling and positioning hose and trip hazzard cones from the van, plus the customers front door can be closed whilst you clean the back saving their beloved moggy from making a dash for freedom out the front door and straight under the wheels of a tesco home delivery van, they like my thoughtfulness, god knows why but they do :D
plus a backpack is useful if you ever use detergents for grubby jobs or conny cleans. ditch the shoulder straps though, never bothered to try carrying one on my back ;)

i did my first 9 months with a backpack and then onto van mount. broke it a few months later and never replaced it. last month i had a sit down and a think about my jobs. decided that there were a good 20 a month that would make my life easier if i had one. so i bought one and its made those jobs a hell of alot easier. i had it on a sack truck with a bungee round but that gave up todayso i popped up to ikea and got a trolley from there. nice light fold up thing, carrys 30kg.... £9.
I wouldnt be without my backpack now days
