One way around this is to go get a job working for someone else and put your money into a piggy bank account.

Your in business for yourself, you have expenses, did you not read the terms and conditions?   : ???

There's no harm looking at expenses and at ways of lowering them.

Another way is to not use a bank and then just take all your money in cash.  You can keep your cash in a box under your bed.

I had 2 years free banking off Natwest then charges were like 80 a month so went on a fixed 25 quid a month arrangement.

Ian, invest five months of that £25 on membership of the Federation of Small Businesses.

Amongst other things (insurance against tax investigations and industrial tribunals, and many more), you'll get completely free business banking with the Co-op Bank (who have just bought 600 odd Lloyds branches).

That isn't the only thing he's doing.  He's calling them "skanking" for charging him as agreed.

Yeah, I know but I also remember feeling outraged at the amount my ex bank was taking in fees so I guess I was cutting him a little slack as I feel his pain.
