probably been discussed before but when recording mileage do u start mileage from your house and back to your house after days work.or from your first job.
talking today to a few self employed people different answers.

i do it from home to home and describe the journey eg window cleaning rd1 rd2 rd2 and quote rd 4 ect

If your home is your place of business then you count when you drive away from it on business purposes. You finish when you get back.

keep all your reciepts and work out which is best for you to claim. ive claimed miles for the last few years after my x accountant told me that was my best option. funnily enough claiming my receipts puts me alot better off
