Title: supermax 40
Post by: richardlingard on August 21, 2012, 04:53:15 pm
just snapped an old xtel 27, looking at the weights and length the supermax xlosed is shorter and lighter than the old cheap pole, so if im used to the old heavy one surly i would easily be able to use a supermax all day long, is this right anyone ?

Thanks and best regards

Richie

Think you would struggle a bit using it all day, it is a great pole but the width of the base would make it hard to handle for a continuous amount of time.

i think it would be absolute madness to use this pole all day every day.its heavy and has a very thick base section compared to a 25ft SLX.its a great high level pole but buy a 25ft SLX for normal domestics and medium commercial.

that i will be doing Daz, however i thought for a few weeks to pay for it i would use the 40 footer because looking at the stats it is actually lighter by a kilo than what i was already using, if the base section was to fat for me, i would take a few off to pay for the slx or clx for the normal house windows

itll pay for itself over time.i just havent got the high level work yet apart from a few jobs a month!

got an older clx 27 and recently replaced my xtel hybrid 40 with a supermax 40, dont need it on all jobs but find myself using it more as its more rigid than the clx, especially if you open several sections but not fully if that makes sense. Even find I use it now on regular terrace fronts where once I stood in the gardens to clean with the clx, I now clean from the pavement with the supermax, saves me a lot of time especially when I have several in a row.
