Insurance in th U K is such a total rip off. Other countries its less costly were there is much more risk of theft or collision and even HI jacking. The restriction on what we can do with our vans is tantamount to dictating how we must use our vans. Its a killer for a new business.I cannot stand insurance its about time they were investigate as an industry and give the British public the value and service the pay so much for. They are a God unto themselves.

I have a Renaut Trafic and a transit and both come in at £1200 each plus a 21 year old in a transit costing £3500 all vans fitted with 1000 litre tanks

You must have one of these "real vans with real gear" at prices like that, sounds like yours is a alot more realer than anyone elses though.

that will not include (if you have) reach and wash system being fitted that is classed has a mod and bumps up premiums.
to not declare this would mean your insurance will be invalid if you have an accident and the insurance are made aware of this

hahaha, I've only ever looked on the carpet cleaners forum once......a lady carpet cleaner stirred em all up with mention of a price war and all hell broke loose.....could the same person be playing devils advocate on here perhaps.....hehehehehe? ;)
