Most use protectakote paint for the floor, & a 4 ltr tin should be enough for the floor.
Why, if yiu dont mind me asking, do you want to put ply back in the van ???

if he has an old Transit, speedlining will probably cost more than the van is worth.  ;)

If you are going to use plywood you might be better off using marine ply as it will last much longer. Or another alternative is phenolic resin ply (as used on floors in trailers) but will need to be sealed on the edges.

Even if you have a newer van and the floor rots through .
It is cheaper to get a new floor welded in than speedliner for £3000

Don`t waste your money on speedliner most follow like sheep I used floor paint its also a polyurathine base paint hard wearing  and is slip proof if you want it a little ruff sprinkle some di resin between coats. On E bay for £20/ 10 LITRES. I got mine in pale grey at the local paint as I only needed 1 litre /£13 .
