Does anyone know where I could get a pump to fit my Ninja carpet cleaning machine, want to upgrade it and would like to fit it myself,
Terry.
-
Ashbys???
-
lol ;D

Spoke to Ahbys John before asking here, they want £490.00 (400psi pump) and £70.00 carriage, the £490.00 includes fitting though..

Mike Halliday could be the man to help you then.
His favorite source after Tomato is Dualpumps.
-
Dualpumps don't do anything suitable, I think you will be very limited to what will fit inside a ninja, once you start going 300+ psi the motor gets very big. and the power needed gets too high for a single plug.
there are lots of companies who sell machine with a big pump, Solutions, Masterclean etc they might keep a stock of spare pumps trying calling them.

Thanks Mike, yes, spoken to dualpumps and they don't, will give solutions a call,
Terry.

do search for ,cat pumps, and, pump tec on the internet
p.s if your ninja is single lead u would hav to add another lead to machine to go for a big pump as mike says amp draw is to big for one lead powering your vacs and things as well, id say the ecplise is prob a cat or pump tec
-
Thanks mate,
Will look them up. The machine has two leads, one for the heater and the other powering the pump and two vacs (one standard the other is heavy duty)

If you are successful can you report back.

Garry I think your right,
I have looked into it more now and do believe Ashbys are the way to go, I have spoken to a guy I purchased his V2 steam mate off and he has a Ninja with one of Ashbys pumps in (400psi)and thinks its great,
This reminds me of a girl I once knew who started at one shop looking for some new shoes to buy, she took me around all the shops in town and came back to the first one we started at and brought them from there,ha, well thanks for everyones help it was well appreciated.
Is anyone interested in an idea for dumping waste water from a portable machine? no doubt someone has thought of it before but just incase here you are.
I purchased about 6mtrs of normal floppy vacuume hose (38ml)and to one end attached a plastic fiiting not unsimular to what we have on our hoses but the othe other end wide enough to fit over the end of the waste water outlet, (fixed by a large circlip)the other end leads to a drain, when I need to emtey my waste (instead of having to watch bucket after bucket fill up with dirty water) I just pull the plunger and away it goes, this saves time back and forth from where ever your dumping your waste, hope you like,
