Title: Rusty pressure hose connectors
Post by: A Foster on August 08, 2012, 10:05:09 pm
Hi All.

Is there anyway of preventing the main quick connects on my pressure washer hose from rusting & corroding?

I didn't think stainless steel corroded, but the connections are getting harder to undo.

I do brush them with a wire brush every now and again, but is there any connectors that I could change them too, that wouldn't deteriorate?

Thanks

I use karcher screw type for this reason, (M22) the only thing that goes on them is the orings after a year or so and they cost 99p for 10!
never rated quick release personally, I even bought some brand new ones once that where super stiff to get off

clean then spray em with silicone spray after use when they are dry. end of corrosion and easy connect and disconnect
