Hi all,
I'm after a smart logo for my letterhead in Word format?
Anyone got one?
If you have it would be much appreciated and my e-mail address is:

Tosh,
When you say a logo do you mean a piece of clipart or similar or are you just looking for a design layout.
I work for a commercial printers who have in-house graphic designers. The trend at the moment is to keep away from using logos and to keep it generic. This can then be used across all quotes ie w/c, gutter cleaning, Upvc etc.
I assume you have tried clipart on-line.

Thanks Sarah,
I've found a few bits of clip art, but they're not much cop.
Has anyone (Sair wants one to) got any water-fed pole clip art, in word format?
I'd be very gratefull.

A lot of companys get their buget for the finacial year on the first of april.
They then have a lot more funds to spend, so it may be more fruitful to have your mail shot at the end of march.
Just a thought.

Nah !
Your stories are gr8t Roy. Some of them have to be pulled from your long term memory so its cant be that bad.
Besides mines not great either - I just makes loads of reminder notes. ::)

Roy,
That's probably excellent advice, but I'm not going to take it.
I've put quite a bit of effort into building up a mailing list, which will be saved in a labelling software programme (that prints the sticky labels to go on the envelopes) and once every three or four months, I'll keep sending out mailshots to everyone that hasn't contacted me.
I'll doggedly keep doing it too; unless someone knee-caps me first (I've been reading your post about being 'thick-skinned').
I've nowt to lose - only some of my not very precious time - and the costs are tax deductable anyway.
I'll have about 60 of them out by this Sunday; I hope.

When I used to sell window cleaning I used to mail shot.
I divided the uk up into 3 zones and would mailshot one zone every month.
Working on the basis every 12 weeks they would have some leaflet on a special offer.
It is like Vikingdirect they do it weekly.
It keeps you foremost in there mind.
Hope all goes well.
