Title: Safecontractor or chas?

Whats the better one? Is there a better one? I know chas is cheaper but if i become a member of one, will it make it easier to become a member of the other? If so which one first?

I did SafeContractor first mate as it didn't ask for as much, when I gained that I emailed Chas telling them I had SC, they sent a brief form to fill out as SSIP (Safety Schemes In Procurement) are the umbrella organisation for them all holding the information.
