Will be purchasing equipment very soon and just wanted to know how many brushes you guys have/use.
I'm assuming you have one that you use for first cleans, dirty con roofs etc then another for regular window cleaning?
I have had a look on gardiners and there seems to be loads of different types, e.g. medium mono dual trim flocked sill brush hard bristles soft bristles etc, anybody fancy getting me up to date with what they mean? ;D
Thanks

Its a personal thing,
I only use gardiners brushes, ive got,
The extreme, my favoured brush for windows.
The dial trim mono super-lite, used mainly for gutters/ fascias conny roofs.
Extreme flocked , softer brush, i use on old georgian windows with poor paint work.
Super-lite d/trim flocked, dont use this that often, but there if i need it.
Hope this helps

as said above that brushes are a personal thing
my preference is
connys - vikan sill brush red and green flocked
windows - extreme flat black
fascias - superlight dt black though i have an extreme dt black im going to try.
i like the look of the extreme sill brush but have yet to try one which i will do soon

Ok that makes a bit easier to understand now, not a major decision really then.
Cheers for the help guys!

You will have to buy a couple and see what suits you.
If you dont like a certain brush, as long as you know why you dont like it, you can buy another accordingly.

1 brush does everything for me gardeners soft black standard splay flocked

i personally dont think gardiners make the best brushes in the world but i have 5 of em mainly because of their lightness which is everything on the end of a pole!! ;D ;D
2 sill brushes medium and soft (these are used for most regular window cleaning)
2 SL mono and flocked (gutter/fascia/soffit and conservatory roof cleaning)
1 medium extreme(used on my high level 40ft pole)
the supalite standard DT FLOCKED is the best for scrubbing glass IMO esp for first cleans and the mono version is good if the frames are minging!! ;) ;D ;D
best wishes
