Title: Future of water fed poles......
Post by: Lee Burbidge on August 04, 2012, 09:24:56 pm
I have used the future of water fed poles today and not one manufacture has made it yet.
I held it, used it and put it through its paces today. A pivotal brush head ( bit like a wag tail) that uses the tubing to the sill brush as a spring. The sill brush has been modified with rows of softer bristles and two rows of firmer bristles at the bottom of the brush head and a row of bristles removed between the soft and harder bristles.

I have pics and video of it in action. That window over the conni roof? No more struggling at an angle and hitting the brick work. It hits square over the frame and glass.

I am hoping to show you how to DIY it step by step......

lol - no, been busy preparing for tomorrow. Quoting a school in Cambridegshire, meeting the GrippaMax boys in Bedfordshire they are making my Ionic Pro5 one man system into a two man system. I will film their new wfp system.... then I am off to colchester to meet Jeff Temperly the guy taking the Brit style of window cleaning to the USA. We hope to document his move over to Florida, following him over with our cameras and witnessing the start of his two business ventures out there ( it will be Florida or bust!).... it will be great viewing  ;D

Gardiners can also be used with the tubing as a spring effect. ;)

However, a swivel that returns to centre on lift off has more disadvantaged than advantages IMO.
