Like for washing your face, hair or teeth?
Wondering if it can lead to purer skin maybe.

I'm not sure about drinking it, but hair washing could be a distinct possibility. I used to live in Wales, and the water was soft there, so left your hair lovely and soft too. That was when I had more hair than now, of course.
Maybe rinse my crayfish in it.

Most coffee shops that have cappuccino machines, or what ever they're called, have a di vessel on the water inlet.

I remember reading on the forums a year or so back that drinking your purified water could make you really ill. I suppose it depends if you use an RO or just a DI cannister.

If you don't put the product water through industrial resin then you shouldn't have a problem. There is a food grade resin (approved by FDA) that should be alright.
The Merlin was originally designed as an under counter r/o to provide purish water to the kitchen. (Purish as it is only about 90% efficient at removing minerals.) Window cleaners found it works ok with WFP as it produces water quickly.

I pop my teeth into a glass of pure water every night before I hit the hay, with no problems.

Top tip, that, thanks.
