Title: Commercial Job Help?!

Good afternoon Steve,
 
We are in the process of getting you set up on our system to pay your invoice however I note you don’t appear to be VAT registered or registered at Companies House. Please can you submit on YOUR company letterhead the information as per the attached letter?

I received this email earlier from a commercial job I did for the first time on Monday, did the job and gave the receptionist my invoice so she could send it off to head office to be paid, I then received this and am a little confused? I'm nowhere near being eligible for VAT and have never heard of companies house! Do I need to register with them??

no, just send her a letterhead. its probably to stop people fiddling within the company, they need to verify your a business
