Hey all,
Does anyone use a Kiam KV-80 Wet/Dry vacuum as part of a gutter cleaning setup, I am looking to buy one and wondered if it would be any good with some poles I can get from ebay.

I am also after a mirror to mount on the poles to make sure the gutters are clean, anyone know where I can get one from,
Cheers, Gary

I don't use the kv80, but it looks very similar to the star 4200 that I bought from gutter cleaning systems. It looks pretty good to be honest, I think the most telling part was the way it sucked up the bucket of water.

The poles look OK, but it would be better if they had heads on to tighten by hand.
I made a mirror with a suction cup mirror, like driving instructors use, two spring tool clips of the appropriate size and some pot rivets - I copied the design of the one that came from gutter cleaning systems. I made a 2nd mirror that fits on a harris pole - I use it for surveying gutters when quoting.

Hi,
I have a kv80 and does a brilliant job well worth the money

Thanks for all the replies and advice, I really appreciate it.
The poles I was going to get some thumb screws for, so that I can hand tighten, I think they will work, maybe, lol

Hi gazza,
Yes the kv80 is a good powerful unit. it is Chinese and is very plastic/ fragile but a reasonable unit for the money.
As for the poles they are my poles and will be cheaper to buy from my website.
as for the clamps see my video below I use a 10mm nut spanner that is for sale on my website.
I did try putting thumb screws in the clamps but they tighten better with the nut spanner
