Title: Any use the new extreme d/t brush
Post by: steven ainger on August 02, 2012, 08:26:24 am
Morning
Anyone use the new Gardiners extreme d/t brush.
I was wondering how it compares to the standard extreme brush,
Also any comments of its performance using hot would be appreciated.
Steven

I have been using it for a month now, and i would say it cleans just as well as the sl, its soooo light as well :)

Much better than the standard extremes as the bristles dont fall out either ;)

I've been using them since they came out - I like them. Not so scratchy and bouncy as the mono trim.

yup....
I've been using the new extreme dual trim for about 6 weeks. Wish I'd been able to use it long ago... I was on the standard mono trim for the last 18 months and really liked it but find the new brush gets into corners better on those awkward reach jobs. With being much lighter it doesnt put much of a bend in the pole (slx30) on lower angled work, and is less grief on the shoulders as a Brucie bonus. Also the bristles remove the old snail/slug trails and bird marks caused from flying into the glass better than the standard. In all, a cracking brush. Looking forward to the new extreme flocked wot I'm getting delivered Tuesday*  ;D

*yes, I know, sad sad sad anorak.....  :P

I'm starting to get very confused with the different brushes Gardiners are marketing.

I was until I watched the 10 minute vid on their website .. all clear now.

basically different brushes for different jobs if u can a rsed or a bog standard brush that will do all of em then some for hot then some for the extreme poles as no point in having a standard brush on a superlite pole .. their superlite wideboy looks good for when i get my sl47 ... simples really

Took delivery of medium mixed and the flocked last week along with two 10 inch  carbon goosenecks have the medium mixed on my 18 clx and the flocked on my 22 slx and I have to say they are much better than the first extremes
First time I have used goosenecks and Absolutely love em
The lightness of the gooseneck along with the brush makes them perfect for the clx
The flocked is great on Georgian and leaded
I would recommend them to anyone for regular cleans and I think the medium mixed would probably be ok for first cleans

ive been using the mixed dt extreme for a while really like the new dt layout bristles cut all the way across not just three quarters, to me this brush is awesome .

The new flocked mixed dual trim is another interesting brush ive been using, that also  find it quality brush too. i like the mix of flocked and mono bristles gives the best of both worlds what more could you ask for,  :P
