How much would you charge for this, 22 glass roof panels, under trees so quite a state and gutters need emptying

£180 about right or do you think Im aiming too high ??
-
id price this at £160/£180..
most connys are hourly priced jobs , so gauge how long then x your hourly rates.
-
£3.00 per panel is what we charge if i quoted your price we would never get any work
-
17 panels? at £5.00 each =£85.00,so £180.00 :o seems a bit steep to me old chum
-
I would say £80 - 100
-
£80 is a very good price
-
I'd say £80.
I'd tell em i'd clean glass, upvc beams and cresting and outside of gutter.
I think imo £180 is more of a restoration price if you had a conny roof ladder and was doing by hand which would probably be 4-5 hrs work I guess.

£180 :o :o
you mean £80 ;)
-
80 wow, busy fools.
If i cleaned the windows on the con regularly I would want 160, but as a one off including windows etc 180 seems reasonable.
Looks like 3 hours work that you can do safely without rushing

Yeah, but what you want and what you get are two different things. ;)
-
Would charge £120 for deep clean

Would charge £120 for deep clean
That sounds good,i would have done it for £80-90 but not no more, now i`m a DEEP CLEANER,£30-40 more, its brilliant, thank you Sir.
-
id say 90 quid easy 3 hours work from parking up to pulling away prob 2 n half hours if it was polycarb roof

sorry thats for a full valet top to bottom not just the roof i dont price for just roof cleans as i find it all runs down from roof anyway
-
I count it £60 per hour, so between £120 - £180 depending on how long you think itll take
-
I would charge no more than £80.
Thats 3 hours tops.
£180 seems very steep, gotta be southern prices lol
-
i would use conny ladders and spend the time to get it looking really smart. thats all the upvc and the gutters have gotta be emptied too.
also glass roofs are really difficult in comparison to polycarb roofs.
plug into the custies tap for first deep scrub then pure for the finish.
i reckon 4 hours maximum inc the house windows which i always do whilst im there be it a new custie or a regular.
if its just roof glass then id say £90
-
Whats the other side of the pointy bits ? or is it just cleaning of what you can see on the pictures ?
-
13 panels u can see and 9 on the other side not in photos
-
if its con roof only £60 for wash down stick a extra tenner on for a basic gutterscrape
which would take me less than ten mins with my drain rods,a hour and twent mins max i would be on my way
-
1 HOUR 20 MINUTES , Im just cringing at the calibre of your workmanship Gary 999 !

-
If you are doing the whole conservatory top to bottom then £120 to £140 would be a fair price.

a bit judgemental dont you think :)
i only offer a wash down service,i do a good job and i really get stuck in to get the job done quickly
i do on average one a day never had a complaint get plenty of repeat work and recomendations :P
in all seriousness i have found that the majority dont want to pay £180-£200 which is
what i would charge for a deep clean.the customer gets exactly what they are paying for
and are always happy with the result.
-
£80 to £100 would take a couple of hours
-
min price £60 (no gutter clearing though)roof and outside gutters and windows.90 min job.
i would probably try for £80 though.

I would charge £80 if a regular custie. Would take me 2 - 2.5 hours.
One thing I would add is that you shouldn't underprice this kind of work.
Think of the money you have invested in your WFP setup and how long it would take the custie to do the job you can do with the right tools. What you are doing is saving them time and hassle.
Also I think those that are doing this type of job in around an hour are probably not cleaning to the levels of those that are taking 2-3.
Also to the original poster - you should price at want you want to earn. Generally people don't pay you what they think your worth, but what you think your worth... so sell yourself.
Just my opinion ;)
-
Haven't bothered reading the replays, I'd go around £120
-
....a grand minimum ;)
-
did one today same size, but not with a glass roof for £60 did it in 1 hour 20 ;)
would of been £90 if that was what they had called for,but i was there doing a gutter and fascia clean and did the conservatory as they asked for a price ;D
-
I wouldnt like to give an exact price as you cant see all of it including access at the other side but i would be somewhere in the region of £100 for a wash down
-
£100 froggy just for the roof!
-
180 !!!!!
its not in wrexham me old m8
;)
-
yes gary and i would clear the gutters and conny windows for that too.
you undersell yourself.... ive lost count of the amount of home owners who have told me they have tried and failed at cleaning their conny roof. its in my opinion a specialist service. a 3x4 conny costs around 8k and can add near double that onto the price of a home.
-
As much as you can as glass roofs are a pain in the ar5e, Ian your a salesman, sell it to them mate, i reckon your not far off with your price though, say it an see what they say, give them the £180 and then keep stum, if they dont say anything then dont you either, if they hum an har over it then say agh well as your a regular then ill knock some money off and then reduce it to £160.
Is the access for the other side easy? looks like its off a flat roof to me
-

froggy mate i dont undersell myself i sell a good wash down service mate £60 is roof wash down price
no gutters cleaned unless pay extra and no other windows cleaned.
i asked the question because i wasnt sure you were talking about a con clean and not a roof clean
for what you are offering mate i would stick another £20 on your £100 price and guessing the kind of person you are ,you will still be giving the customer far more than they are paying for
-
I would charge £80 2 hours work tops (outside only) ;D
