How to enter:

Simply reply to this topic with your best BEFORE and AFTER Photos of a job you have done. This could be carpet, upholstery, hard floor or any other floor type cleaning photos.

The competition will run for a month to collect all entries, we shall then produce a short list of the top 5 for you to vote on your favourite for a further 2 weeks! All entries need to be uploaded by 3rd September 2012, entries after this date will not be included. The winner shall be notified 2 weeks later.

The winner shall be the one with the most votes and shall receive a Brand New Professional Spotting Kit!

They took the advice of their janitorial suppliers rep to put a coat of emulsion floor finish on their floor each night after they mopped it.
After a year they decided to contact us as they thought the appearance could be improved slightly as two weeks prior to this they decided that it possibly wasn't doing much for them! I particularly love the grass and stones stuck under the radiator.

After stripping back and resurfacing the floor we finished with Dr.Schutz Permanent PU Sealer meaning no more stripping and polishing will ever be required.

What striper did you use? Walked away from a job similar to your pictures 2 and 3 (my ciu used something called mop and go or wash and go by Johnson I believe)

We then set about it with Dr.Schutz Turbostripper. Its Limonene based and reduces discoloration on marmoleum

There was a fair amount of detail using pocket scrapers and hand pads on the edges and corners.

Post by: Tadgh O Shea on August 30, 2012, 11:42:49 pm: This was a training session we were doing in a nursing home, we were using their own extraction machine a Karcher puzzi 100, not the most ideal extraction machine for the size of their home, there was so much urine and heavy soils we had to use the upholstery tool to pull them out, they were delighted with the results and were going to invest in a commercial extraction machine as they use their own staff for doing all cleaning. (we dont sell cleaning equipment, just provide solutions and training)
