Title: Black oak sap on a conservatory roof
Post by: stephen donald on July 25, 2012, 03:20:11 pm: Any suggestions on what product to use to clean a conservatory roof with polycarbonate.Tried cleaning with cold de-ionised water,hot de-ionised water,detergent and bug cleaner.Part of the conservatory is under an oak tree which has the black sap on and its a bugger to get off.Bleach was going to be my next port of call!Cheers steve

Soap soap in hot water would remove it as already mentioned by Mike as would tfr (traffic film remover)

i have an adaptor for the pole and use a 16" squeegee blade without rubber - clears off algea lichen and crud unbelievably quickly ( use wet tho ) then just a quick rinse over

because my Mrs, is on holiday till 16th Aug and she is the one who does the selling, sending and packaging, so i am afraid if have just ordered it, need to wait till 16th Aug to get it. :(

You can do , but best result is when you use it with water fed pole
