Title: Restructuring
Post by: Roy Cauldery on July 25, 2012, 02:41:08 am
After a bit of grim news at the weekend,I now need to dramatically restructure my business
What's the best way to work for the following please guys?
2xmen
2xvans(both wfp)
600+customers (this would make 2x300 rounds)

How do you guys in similar situation work the round so you both get time off without working 52 weeks a year?
And what frequency works that model best?
4/8
5/10
6/12

Thanks in advance
Roy

Don't think too hard, just go for it and adjust as you go

Hi Roy

I work my business around a 4 day week, this gives space to carry work forwards if needed to by the weather, sickness and holidays

I would go 2 vans one in each on 4 weekly/ 8 weekly.

I can the the benifit of 6/12 weekly to but with price increase, but with 600 customers 4/8 weekly imo would be best

I do this and works well, I work sometimes on the tools but all the time in the background.

Hope you sort it Roy

Sell 1 van as 2 men in 1 van should do 600 customers a month ... See how it goes and adjust schedule as u go and maybe bump some over to 8 weekly at higher price if ok with customer

i do 4/8 but if i was starting over i would do 6 weekly only,

i think 600 customers wouldnt be enough more like 7-800 if your doing 4 or 8 weekly for 2 men
