My son's Law Firm are doing are doing a sponsored Bike Ride around the Uk to raise money for War Child.
War Child protects children from the brutal effects of war and helps rebuild their lives. We’re on the ground in some of the world’s most dangerous countries – providing life-changing support for the most vulnerable children whose homes, families and communities are torn apart by conflict.
If any of you would be kind enough to sponsor them it would be very much appreciated, espcially by the poor souls affected.

Thanks to those who have donated.
And those that haven't....Come On!!!
This is a really good cause and while our children are tucked up in bed safe and sound, others are nowhere near as lucky.

Well at least i telling you why and not just hiding ;)
Incidently my son has so far raised around £21,000 over the last few months for cancer, ran the 7 peaks ,yes 7 , open swim of 21 miles in Windermere, cycled from john ogroats to lands end and about to climb mt kilamanjaroo. you know what i did ask on here for donations and not one responce :o so its hard work Simon, but good luck with it .

I think that people do have their favourite charities... Because there are so many good causes, and you cannot give to them all.
Mine is Mecap, as my dad is the chairman of his local one after being treasurer for 25 years, mainly because my sister has "learning difficulties" which is the PC way of saying what used to be mentally handicapped.
So whilst I agree it is a good cause Simon, and they have a picture of the White Helmets (I was in them myself once) as their logo I cannot donate either. But good luck to your son in his quest.
