Hi can anyone advise if the powr flite pfx 1080-2u is a decent machine, or am i better off spending that bit extra and going for the pfx1085? cheers

The only difference I see is the pump and whilst 100psi isnt brilliant I personally dont think the bigger pump is worth £700.

The difference is the pump, and 500 Psi makes a huge difference.
And the 1085 has the heater and perfect heat system, which will
literally halve the cleaning time.
The 1085 is easily worth the difference in price.

Defiantly a bit more psi and heat, it’s worth it in the long run, what I don’t like is the hide a hose

Still dont think the extra psi is worth £700. Can pick up a cheap inline heater which will give you a better heat anyway.

Both are great value in the sale ...
The black max with all the extras for 1665+  is a ridiculously good bargain ...

Until you've owned a Powrflite, you will not believe just
how good the heating system is.
as for the pump, you rarely need 500Psi so most of the
time the pump is running well within design limits, so wear
and tear is reduced. my pump lasted at least 3000 hours before
a service was necessary.
