Is there a rate per square meter that most people work to for jet washing patios/drives ?
Gives me an idea how to price a job as I have a laser measure that I carry from a previous occupation
Thanks

Have a look on some driveway cleaning websites to give you an idea :-)

Hard floor section of this forum Don't call them Pikeys though, they really get the hump. Not much sense of humour on that side.

we do £4.50 m2 for block paving as it needs to be re sanded and £3.50 m2 for all other surfaces, minimum charge of £100
hope that helps. we get them week in week out at that rate all spring and summer. Just quoted a £1,300 drive and patio in the road next to peter andres house. :P

Lee, How much do you pay for sand? I have looked and its about £4 a bag with a coverage of 4 m2. At that rate you would be re-sanding at a loss.

About £6 for a 15kg bag and it covers alot more than that. trust me we never make a loss

Last time I did a patio i used the sand from b&q as my local supplier had close to rebrand, it did a load more than 4 square meters on block paving, it give the customer the option to resand it themselves and explain how it is done or we can do it for them. I prefer them to do it if honest so I dont have to go back to it another day

Not sure how much you buy.. setup an account with local builders merchants (TP or Jewsons) should be able to source it closer £3 a bag ... haggle ;D
