Title: faux suede sofa cleaning
Post by: david_claxton on January 20, 2006, 11:31:01 am
Hello,
I've been asked to have a look at two faux (false) suede sofas for cleaning. Being false I would anticipate that it would be ok to use hwe but would like to ask the question to yourselves just in case.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi, i always clean buffalo using hwe and ive never had a problem, they can ripple when wet but this rectifies when dry.

Did one Monday.  :)

As Ollie says but not too hot, don't use solvents and don't rub too hard when towelling off.

Hi guys,

Would agree with above , no probs unless you go too hot or use solvents.

I find using a microfibre cloth to work in prespray to be very effective on this material.

Cheers

Doug
