Hi guys, what do you use for prespraying carpets? i have been using two hydroforce sprayers off the TM for years now and 1 old stainless steel pump up sprayer for upholstery or when i just want to apply a light prespray.
Im thinking about buying a electric sprayer, and saw some people on here use them. Anyone reccomend a good make.

I have been using this one for a few weeks now, great bit of kit so far, mines the v 17 one, and I've attached my lance to it

Stu, do these need to be plugged in or do they run off battery. Ive read the write up of the v15 but i cant work out if it needs to be plugged into a power source.

Looks like a functional piece of kit.

Looks like you need to buy the power pack seperately Paul - otherwise it only runs off a car fAg lighter. Guess it makes the 17 a better buy.

These electric sprayers started becoming fashionable a year or two a go, now everyone is moaning because they're falling to bits / there's nowhere to put the lance / they leak onto the battery / the pump has gone / they're really heavy / there's no handles to pick them up by / the lance is broken / the hose is split etc etc
You have the best options already. Hydroforce for carpets and a steel pump up for upholstery & protector :)

The mobi works from a rechargeable battery, which you have to plug into the mains to charge or straight off the 12 volt cigar lighter
Have to say after 21 years of various pump up sprayers I'm sticking to these battery sprayers

I bought one of these mobi washers, lasted 2 days and the pump gave up, couldn't claim on warranty as was running spm through it and it states only water. I've now taken the pump out of my old electric one (window cleaning w/house) and modified it to fit in the mobi. The mobi is a good design with some good features but won't last if your putting detergent or powdered solutions through it.

Just a idea, sometimes when i want to lay alot of pre spray fast,i put some pre spray in a bucket, then put the two hoses from my chemical feed.Open the valve all the way.Connect my spray lance for washing my van to solution hose and spray. Then change back to normal solution.

would not be without a battery sprayer. Doing things like resaurants it is so much easier not having a hose to drag around the tables and chairs. Job for the last few weeks people can go of to next floor to start prespraying and aggitating whilst work carries on on other floor. So much easier than having a tee in the solution hose. If using loads of prespray so much quicker than pump sprayer. Had mine for 12 months and it has paid for itself many times over. Flow regulator went today, no problem by pass it and carry on, replacement will arrive in a few days, one of the best timesavers ever bought for such a small amount of money.
