I'm just looking at my budgets for advertising and marketing and was wondering what people felt was a reasonable budget?
I do understand that everybody is different and we've all got different overheads etc etc, but i was just looking for rough ideas

I chose £200-£300 because it brings in enough new business to keep me ticking over.

do you write to existing customers?
are you in the yellow pages?
do you put advert in local paper?
do you leave anything with you details on with the customer?

I remember being told to spend a third of your takings on marketing. But then again they were flogging a fast track programme. ;D
