Title: Getting pole hose out of pole
Post by: Darren H on July 06, 2012, 04:43:26 pm
At the moment i have a 27clx pole with standard angle adapter on the end and the pole hose goes up inside the pole but to get the hose out i have to drill hole in the adapter then when i screw the pole to the adapter it nips agaist the hose and the pole often comes loose because you can not tighten fully because you stop the water flow.
Is there a better way to do this or is there something i could  buy to get round the problem.
Thanks for any advice.

I have the same pole and adaptor (I think) but no such problem.

Post a picture if possible and I'll compare.

Few lengths of electrical tape round the thread should do the trick  :)

the screw angle adapters do not have holes in.

What you need is a Type2 Resi-neck. This simply screws on and allows the pole hose to exit the adapter through a purpose designed hole.
