Any information would be good, even products to avoid

If there was one sealer I would recomend it would have to be any good quality polyurethane such as cementone or resiblock 22 / superior, they are more expensive but the saying goes with it ' you get what you pay for' same goes for equipment, spend more money on quality gear and get the best...

Thanks for the reply, I was looking at these products today, they are sold in Jewsons, have you used these products youself?

Yes mate, occasionally in the past, but mainly used them this year over instead of acrylic, alot of people shy away from them as they are hard to put right if they are installed wrong, but the trick is to just do it right... lol. wait untill the surface is completely dry, they must be rolled on so that you 'flood' the joints and the sealer penetrates deep into the sand and when they are set they are absolubtely ROCK HARD mate, you could pressure wash the area with an industrial power washer (around 200bar/15lpm) the year after and the sand will satay put, inlike acrylic which would wash out, therefor saving the customer money as you dont have to resand and the wont be as much mess, pricing a clean the same as you would flagstones really
Acrylics are designed to bond the jointing sand and seal, polyurethanes are designed to PERMANANTLY bond the sand.

It's been bad enough this year getting the sanding etc. done. Thanks God I've not had any to seal thus far.
Aside from he rain the rare nice days we have had have on occasion been too hot for sealing so it's an almost impossible task.
I have a couple of PIC's waiting on cleaning / resealing and already scheduling is a problem with this good old UK weather as I don't want to clean and then wait and wait and wait for a dry spell.

Waste of time sealing anyway, I'll be taking it off the site at some point. It never stops weeds. Even Resiblock, it's all shiite!

Tell us what you really think ;D ;D
Take off sealing add Weed kill ;D maintenance programs (quarterly) repeat work plus keep in contact with customer to offer other services - we are updating site next few wks. No longer offer sealing even for existing customers have 5 waiting to be done just not worth it.

I always put people off having BP sealed too. I tell them that it is too expensive for limited benefits and cheaper better to have more frequent clean. PIC is a different ball game though as without seal it looks awful.

As there are some Pro's on here, Whats the best product for cleaning up engine Oil on block paving? they are bad and i've been told they have been this way for years, or would it be easier just to replace the blocks?

OT8 is what I use and it's worked a treat on all I've tried it on.

Worth a go but if it's been there for years then probably best to match and replace the blocks.
You should get a free sample of OT8 to do a test, contact your local distributor.
