Anyone use Linkedin as a means of generating business.
If so how?

I suppose its a bit like a networking group, only online.

I used it when I was in the motor trade, good to get to know other dealers for when you needed stock etc.

Could use it to network with suppliers & fitters of carpets, as well as office managers etc I but if you don't know them you need to know an intermediary to 'introduce' you to them.

Been on there a couple of years with nothing coming from it, having said that I guess you have to flog it to death to get any return a bit like FB
