Title: i remember these problems

I had to use my porty yesterday morning on two room apt.Just about finished 2nd room,electricity goes,go to flip the switch,ahhhhhhhhhhh fuses,old apt blk,20 years ago i use to carry fuses for when this happened, but as time went by and fuse boards became the regular.Bet if your at this game long you remember these problems.

We were having an old clear out of stuff thats been hoarded over the years. In an old toolbox of my dads we found some reels of fuse wire. This is obviously why he carried them.

thats why he had them alright,man i remember it really use to be a major problem,you could have been talking wiring done in the thirties them i came in with twin vac,pump,heater,blip

Unusual for wire fuses to trip, the new ones though are
very sensitive.
My house is quite modern but I still have wire fuses.
Yes I do carry fuse wire.

use rcd`s on the plugs no problem.

Residual Current Device........circuit breaker you should use them all the time any way.
