I currently work full time but want to get out of the rat race and create my own business. Oddly, I enjoy cleaning so thought I could create my business around this.
My initial thoughts are to keep it relatively small. Domestic cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning and small office/retail units.
The trouble is I do not know where to start.
Can anybody help me please re insurance, registering a business etc etc.
I appreciate any help whatsoever.
You can email me at elaineegan2@hotmail.com if you would prefer#thank you

Hi
I am also just starting out in carpet cleaning. I found (IMO) that these chaps offered the best insurance option for me.
Hope it helps

for insurance I found hiscox or polished were amonst the best.
As for registering, you do not have to do that immediately, and can do it retrospectively after a few months.
Start up see how you go part time for a while and when it takes off, go full time and then register.
