My leaflets are here!!!!!! 40,000 in 14 boxes. If it rains tomorrow, I guess we will spend the whole day delivering.
Giving a new window cleaner a trial today as well. His name is Mike. Sam is checking him out today and Sam will report back to me, plus I will work with the guys on Friday to check Mike out further.....

I have just picked up 12500 of my new folded business cards, and I am well impressed with them, well worth the extra cost compared to normal business cards or leaflets, also started a new door to door canvasser and his brother also wants a job, I have even got my daughters boyfriend to drop 2000 to 3000 leaflets every week, mind you I don't expect him to last the lazy poop :-\.

Cheers. I was biting at the bit. So I thought what the heck I will deliver some in my village ( there has only got to be about 30/40 houses ) Next door but one to me is called Skeffington Hall. Its a massive pad with tennis courts and all that stuff. I couldn't find the letterbox so I put the leaflet in the milk tray lol
Infact most of the properties in my village are like this. Anyway, delivered them all in 40 minutes. It was a nice walk in the rain and I picked up a new job.

Get in there!!! drop them all off and wait for the calls. We have decided to follow up our leaflet drops with knocking on the doors two weeks later.

£10 per sale

Flat rate? You do the quoting do you? so you can make sure the job is £10.00 or more in worth.
When do they get the money after the first clean?

No I am letting them do the pricing, my pricing structure is simple really. Minimum charge of £12 upto 10 windows, them £1 per window, conny extra depending on size, extra for difficult access issues, bays classed as 2 windows the same as patio doors.
And no silly prices like £13, its simple prices of £12 £15 £18 £20 then plus £5 so £25 £30
25% increase for 6 weeks and 50% extra for 8 weekly cleans plus between £10 and double charge on first cleans, so even if they only get one off cleans, I still make money, of course if all their work are one-offs then its down the road for them.
commercial work I quote, the same for carpet cleaning, gutters and solar panels

So what do you look for in people off GumTree..... ex window cleaners. You would have to train a non window cleaner these prices right? How would they know how to quote up a conn for example :)

I use to be a door to door canvasser, so you get the feel for the right sort, connys have been broken down into small medium and large, but all the job prices are to bo confirmed when I turn up for the 1st clean.
I will give a report on every job they get on what I would have charged, this will give them guildance after a short time on how to price correctly.
also after a couple of weeks and they are what i am after and they like the job and are earning enough, then they will under go on the job training and they will come out cleaning to see what its like to clean windows .

So, the lady of Skeffington Hall will be looking for the little card in the chocolate box hoping to get a Hazelnut Caress, but finds one of your leaflets and ends up with an Orange Truffle, instead >:(.

Right ;).
You might not get Skeffington Hall but you could end up cleaning the milkman's windows :).

hey good news on the new leaflets, as you said about following the leaflets up, this increases your pickup loads and loads mate, ive always done it this way
