Title: Interesting day today
Post by: AuRavelling79 on June 29, 2012, 09:44:37 pm
First Mrs Thomas's conny roof - not overly interesting

Then carrying on with my mega building (for me) cladding clean - almost finished now.

Then a bit of trad - climbing four flights of scaffolding and cleaning some big georgian windows after the painters have done their bit.

Of course as soon as I'd finished a geezer turns up and says he's gonna do a bit of tile cutting (grinding, dust, muck) on one of the extension roofs.  :o

That does sound interesting.  Mine was quite interesting too;

started early (for me) & finished 3 from yesterday that I was too knackered to do yesterday,

moved to another close where I do 5, did the insides of one (prebooked) and spent half n hour listening to the lady tell me of her concerns over her son (he's not mixing with his peers, to much time on the computor etc, wasn't sure what to say really)

then picked up 1 (husband called me over to say he was too ill to do them himself anymore) next to the 5, did that,

had lunch in van on move to another town 20 mins drive away and cleaned and moved the van all afternoon (not very effectively) getting home at about 3.47. Cleaned my own windows as they looked rotten,

12.03 and 31 seconds (approx) in a layby betwixt the 2 towns (left the van running/hopped out etc)

my problem is that this particular close contains a very hospitable customer (not the one with parental issues, her neighbour) who brings me a hot chocolate drink when I step out of the van and then another hot choc -when I've done 2 and her front- and head round the back. Also a cherry bakewell and 2 cream crunch biscuits (which I handed back as I'm worried about my collesterol levels at the moment)

so, at 12.03 I was absolutely bostin.

Well my day was extremely interesting. Nothing boring like the drudge posted above.

8am to about 4pm.

Cleaning shop windows with a 45 minute break along the cliff tops next to the coast during which time I fed part of my pie to a one legged pigeon.

(Bit late)

5:30 - 10 am on the shops, extra canopies needed doing, so a little earlier than usual. Heave drizzle all morning so got wet.

Had breakfast in the van while watching all the honeys arrive for work.

Off out to a small office park to do 3 offices.

Called by the vicarage to see if the new vicar has arrived yet. He hasn't so will have to try again next week.

In the office by 12:30, swift jar and a game of pool.

Took the dog to the beach in the afternoon, followed by a couple of jars and picked up by the old lady on her way home.

Must do better  :(. Not enough trivial detail.
What was breakfast? Did you win at pool? Was it two shots? What were the honeys like? Young ones? Mature ones? Legs? Cleavage? VPL?
I'm off out now, so it'll do next time  ;D.

oops sorry, It was a bacon and egg roll, and tea for breakfast (no sugar). The egg was a bit overcooked this week, I prefer a booby trapped egg roll.

The honeys are many and varied, we usually sit outside the hair dressers for brekky, so most of them are younger, but the owner is a real stunner and a bit older. Collecting is a blast as it is packed with an assortment of 19-50 ranging from drop dead gorgeous to plain, happily there is an absence of real munters. Probably the most attractive is the girl in the jewlers, It usually takes a bit of time to collect that one.

I always win at pool, usually best of 3. I got grief off the landlord. I gave him an old brodex pole so he could put a flag up at a festival, he said that he couldn't keep the top section up. The ale of choice was a skinners Knocker. Both the good cues have now been trashed by some fool, so it is like playing with a baseball bat.

The fan belt started squeeking on the way home.

Sad, I know, but I do actually enjoy reading things like that.
Cheers  :).
