Title: acrylic sealant removal
Post by: rb4no on June 27, 2012, 01:48:15 pm
hi everyone, put down some acrylic patio (cement) sealant and problem is that some of the patio slabs were laid 12 year ago and the others 3 weeks ago. The weathering effect on the old slabs means that the finish is very different, with the new slabs taking the sealant very well with little applied and the old absorbing quite alot. In either case the finish isn't bad it's just that the contrast between the two is too great for the client so he wants the small area of the newly laid slabs sealant to be removed!

Can anyone please advise on how best to do this, area in question is about 15m2 only!

Hi Kev,

Maybe, although I don't think I called MarbelLife, do you operate also under a different website?

There are a number of paint strippers of sorts ranging in price with the aid of hot water. I've called a few comp's today and thought I'd see what the end users have to say hence this thread.

All advise respectfully taken..
