Hi all.
Was wondering if any of you have bought or devised a system to stop all the gunk splashing everywhere, when you're using a turbo nozzle or normal lance nozzle?
-
Try here
http://andyshield.com

looks ok for a normal nozzle but for a turbo I would think of making something along the lines of one of them 'lampshades' they put around a dogs neck to stop them biting their stitches (if you follow me), a clear one so you can see where your jetting... also cut at an angle
-
Buy a large funnel.... take off the the end of the lance.... stick the funnel on ... screw the end piece of lance together .... sorted ;)
-
Andyshields are crap as they do not fit a standard industrial quick connect lance without clamping it onto the turbo itself. Then it gets in the way when wanting to clean under patio door sills, in corners etc so is a complete waste of time and money.
Regarding the funnel method have you tried it as it would need to be kept flat on the surface to work? Again I would have thought would be quite useless in corners etc.
What do you lads think?
-
Any guard would be useless in corners.... why would you need one for the corners anyway.
-
To stop the crap blasting everywhere especially onto patio/french doors, windows etc.
-
Surely you have the knack of not getting crap anywhere ???
-
Nope especially when cleaning filthy block pavers using a turbo nozzle ;D
So what’s your knack then?
-
Clean everywhere - get crap everywhere and then rinse off everywhere!!
Rob ;D

Yep indeed ;D
I just inform domestic customers in advance that I will clean up any overspray & give them a free ground floor window clean too.
Works every time ;D
