Title: 1st day with new employee
Post by: Ian101 on June 26, 2012, 06:18:43 pm
Great day today ... he picked it up within an hour .. cleaned em exactly as I had showed and did it all in correct order .. 8 years at Mcdonalds prob helped with system of cleaning and routine.

By 11am was happy with him to let him do a house all by himself whilst I watched ... by 2pm we we doing a house each ... still watched him but no problems.

Obviously a lot slower than me but not bothered as speed will come and happy that hes taking his time.

What normally takes me till 5.30 on my own was all done by 2.45.

Fingers crossed it lasts but a great 1st day.

Great news Ian
Hope you got a good 'un
Will free your time to expand and grow
Try this-its a mint way of doing business:get him doing the cleaning and you knock all around where you/he are working. We always pick up a couple when we do this as you can clean them there and then  8)

Good luck

regards
Roy

Do regular spot checks a few times a day and let him know what you have found. do it in a nice way though but let him know you are fussy.
At the end of the day it is not their business so they are more likely to be more sloppy with their work.
