Title: Machine maintenance training

Hi everyone does anyone know where I can get some training to help me become a machine service engineer Im very good with prochem machines just would like to expand my knowledge of other makes before I start advertising the fact that I can assist people with their machines

my boxxer needs a full service as well, you can practice all you want on it.  ;) ;D

you need to go to agricultural collage and do small plant engineering  with a side line in welding.

but the best way is to buy scrap truckmount and fiddle with them, do the same with high pressure pumps  its all about hands on fiddling

What side of machine service engineer are you looking at? Most TM’ers use ICE while some use pumptec (different kettle of fish to the cat) ???

Well I served my time as a car mechanic so most things are ok hydrolics and so forth I understand but have no experience in, I have only ever used portys and rotarys so they are all good. What is ICE? I suppose I just wanted a few days hands on with someone over my sholder making sure I  was doing /diagnosing the fault correctly.
Was kind of hoping one of the bigger boys had a maintenance course I  could enrol on to up my game

Time served as a mechanic and don’t know what an Internal Combustion Engine is! Now that’s shocking :o ;)

Sorry don’t know of any cc suppliers who do courses in maintenance of machines (could it be part of there bread and butter why they don’t)

Think the TACCA run a basic how too, if they do other SDO (sunny day out) go a long or do searches on this and other forums

Thanks for the invite. Do you get concessions on boat tips she wants? A cupper is always welcome make it coffee two sugars with or without, as of ironing don’t worry I trained her (well my dad exguardsman)
