Ordered a sample of Shockwave to compare to Powerburst, i have a customer that has his carpets cleaned every five weeks they are synthetic, cream coloured and always heavily soiled, he has two Great Danes !
I thought that this would be a good test of Shockwave as i know the results that Powerburst achieves from the many times i have used it on these carpets, the results are always impressive, i have to say that Shockwave actually cleaned the carpet at least as good maybe even better i did less spotting with it too.
What i am wondering is that these are two very different chemicals and would assume that each would have better results on particular types of soiling, but what are these types?

they look very similar , mostly sodium carbonate , surfactants , solvent ,builders , a strong alkali ...
shockwave contains enzymes , thats the only difference i see .

Give Craftex Champion a try on synthetics mate its brilliant

Enzall for me, very rare for us to need to spot as the pre spray gets it 99 times out of a hundred

We've been using Shockwave in place of Powerburst for quite some time, espcially on restaurant carpets and I think it is every bit is good, performance wise.
It is particularly good on very dirty upholstery.

When using powerburst or shockwave do you follow up with a acid rinse. does anybody use these in portables??
-
They are both pre-sprays. An acid rinse is advisable especially on Wool.

William as John said these are both presprays When I was using my portable I only ever put acid rinse or clear water through it.
POWERBURST BRILLIANT ;D
