Used some Prochem powdered defoamer today for the first time, usually use the liquid stuff.
Mixed one scoop in 500ml of water and sucked into hose and into waste tank.
I was still producing some foam, more so than when using liquids in the past.I was using F and F in the rinse water - could this be why?
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
Wayne

Hi Wayne
you need to put the defoamer into the waste tank, the liquid defoamer is ok you coat the inside of the vac hose, the powder will not be as effective.
You will also find that using some chemicals produce more foam than others, Power Burst is one.

When I use powdered defoamer I usually chuck it on the carpet like feeding chickens.
I have a customer who uses Craftex Champion as their in-tank product of choice (I know, you cant tell them) they swear by Powdered Defoamer in place of liquid.

Find I get minimum foam using powerburst.Normally drop the waste tank after a couple of average size rooms

cheap hair condishner or a bar of cheap soap does the same as these fancy chems ;D

Buy some smart price clothes conditioner and use this wayne, does the job, mix with water and suck through hose.
Or put a cap full of citra boost in your prespray also helps mate.
