In the process of increasing the majority of my prices. Following conversation goes a bit like this.
Me: As from next clean (currently 2 monthly) the price will be increasing from £25 to £28.
Custy: ok no problem (he pops indoors to tell the mrs).
Custy: how much would it cost to go monthly now then.
Me: it would be £22 monthly.
Custy: ok, we'll go monthly and see you next month.
They were paying £150 per year for cleaning and are now paying £264. Can't figure people out??????

They may have already been considering going monthly ;)

Been doing them about 4 years and have always been 2 monthly.
Lost about 4 jobs so far due to I increase but have more than made up for it with the rise in others.
Lots of the jobs I was concerned about have swallowed the rise no problems at all. Some have gone up by as much as £5 per month. It's the little 50p rises that tend to get funny. ::)

goes to show, never second guess what people will do ;D
I did laugh at the changing to monthly to cost themselves more, got to love it when that happens

Yes, they end up paying more but have cleaner windows more often. That's the service. Clean windows. If clean windows were important to me (they aren't ;) ) then I'd've done the same as they did.
Ian WW is right, don't second guess people. Always pays in the end.

Agree with you Tony and realise I'm now being tied to a job paying £22 instead of £25 for the same amount of time each clean. Fair enough they're having them cleaned more often earning me more money each year but I'd rather they stayed bi-monthly to earn more per hour and foil the gaps with similar work

Yes, I understand that's OUR view, but everyone wins with what they've chosen to do ;) That's good business in anyone's book.
