Title: Schedule Software??
Post by: Gary Tomkinson on June 12, 2012, 09:03:24 pm
Hi Guys

Been on here a little while lurking and reading what others have to post, but never really giving any input myself!

Just wanted to find out if anyone here uses any type of diary or schedule software? We have 4 pairs of domestic cleaners, plus contract cleaners and other staff out and about all day - currently we use traditional paper and pencil diary and a lot of manual effort into scheduling our staff, with things such as repeat bookings kept in customers notes which are separate to our diary. We have a fairly large customer base, and one of the biggest things holding us back from expansion is an automatic way of completing the scheduling/diary..................the huge question we have is, does anyone out there use any type of software to do this, if so please tell us more - we are tearing or hair out with only 4 rounds!!!

Cheers guys

Hi Gary we have 40 clients and have been using Microsoft Outlook calander.  It is not perfect but you can use the recurrence option to enter weekly/ bi weekly/monthly cleans and set reminders.  We print off a weekly calander each Monday morning and run with it for the week.
I am currently looking for a bespoke product but have not found one yet.
