My technique is:

Rinse with pure along the whole gutter, fascia and soffit.  Wait a minute.
Wash. Wait two minutes.
Turn off water and wipe off drips.

Er, that's it.

I don't think they'll ever be easy and the reason for that is that they use a different set of muscles from doing windows, yet you don't do them often enough to strengthen up the right muscles.

do you change brush position ? looking at the pic you dont , get your brush head flat to the soffit board and stand as far back as you can .

The easiest way to clean these is by using Magica One Go. You be amazed of how easy the dirt will come off.

i agree with vin.most of the time they just need pure and no chemicals.if they are bad i use tfr or virosol sprayed direct on the brush.works well.

what brushes do you use?im thinking of using my medium extreme brush on carbon gooseneck for lightness.you need it for these jobs.hard work on the arms and shoulders i find!! :-\ :-\

I dont think the extreme would be man enough for this, you need a little weight for the scrubbing and also they have fewer bristels. We do loads of fascia cleans and just use duel trim brushes work perfectly fine

If they are really terrible they get a rough prewash with the brush with a tiny (tiny!) smear of Fairy on it.  Leave that to work for a minute and Robert's your dad's brother.

I have done loads with the white extreme and its a good brush for the job imo, nice and light and the splay gets under the gutter nicely.

My technique is a mix of plain water and virosol in a back pack spray on  leave 5 mins then scrub and rinse with plain water.

simples ;)
